Bone Health Nursing Team
The bone health service is a county-wide nurse led service, within Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC), established in 2008. Its aim is to assess those who have suffered a low trauma or fragility fracture with a view to secondary fracture prevention, thereby reducing the costs to the NHS and improving health outcomes. It is based on the national Fracture Liaison Service model.
