Dr Ian Shaw
Consultant Gastroenterologist & General Physician, GHNHSFT

Dr Shaw is currently the Trust Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology and has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of luminal gastroenterology (conditions that affect the gut). He is also the Clinical Lead for the Non SIte Specific Symptom Cancer Exclusion Service. He also holds the post of National Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the Royal College of Physicians.

His particular areas of expertise include:

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's and Colitis)
Bowel cancer
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Coeliac disease
Dyspepsia (indigestion)
