Genito-urinary medicine
Dr deBurgh-Thomas is an Infectious Diseases Consultant. He qualified in biochemistry & then medicine and specialised in HIV medicine and Genito-Urinary dermatology. He works for the local NHS Trust, but is happy to see and advise any patients with genitourinary problems.
Dr Madhavi Vellayan
Consultant In Gynaecology
Dr Madhavi Vellayan graduated from University of Madras, India in 1992. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various renowned centres in Yorkshire and underwent specialisation in Gynaecological Endoscopy in Jessop Hospital for Women, Sheffield. Dr Vellayan has a wide range of experience and interest in women's health issues ranging from gynaecological issues affecting children to period problems, subfertility, pelvic pain,ovarian cysts, prolapse, urinary incontinence and menopausal symptoms.
Special interests are: Menstrual disorders, Perimenopausal irregular bleeding, Postmenopausal bleeding,subfertility, Premenstrual syndrome, Pelvic pain, Endometriosis, Paediatric gynaecology, Ovarian Cysts, Vulval skin disorders and Vaginal discharge.
